We hired this company after a bad experience with another water taxi service. The drivers were extremely polite and kind, gave us all free coozies, made it a fun trip and didn’t charge us outrageous fees. Will definitely be using them again! Thank you so much!

Playin Hooky is one of the best ways to get around the Ozarks and have a great time. Laid back but enough rules to keep everyone safe. For a group of people going out to a few bars, there really is no better way. Keep up the good work Captain Jim!

We used Playin Hooky Water Taxi after having an unpleasant experience with another water taxi, and the two drivers that we had with Playin Hooky were so friendly and professional to our group! The price was made clear up front and we were able to choose specific pick up/drop off times, which made it very convenient. Would highly recommend using this business!

The boat was great and so much fun! The driver was beyond rude. His helper was very kind and helpful.nn*** also, love that a company calls their clients “Karens” after we spent $720 to book. We never asked for a refund but wanted them to know that their policy was not clear. My sister booked this trip and was NEVER told to reference the website for guidelines. They told her you “can carry on drinks” and was not explained that coolers could not come on board. There were also 3 girls on board that were disappointed when they saw the driver because he was so unpleasant when they traveled with him before. Two of those girls weren’t even with our group. When my mom called to talk to them about the boat driver they claimed he was a strong Christian and would never act like that. I have never met a “strong Christian” who tells their clients to sit down and shut up. I guess we might have a different definition. So moral of the story, visit the website before you book and read all the reviews. It sounds like there are multiple drivers.

The boat itself was nice and my group was taken from bar to bar as the website states. However, our Captain was awful. We followed the rules and had one bar that was having problems with the credit card machine, told the captain they were coming as fast as they could. He started driving away with 4 people standing on the dock in arms length. He did pull back in and opened the door without stopping, had them get on while the boat was in full motion. He yelled and was unkind from the moment we got on. His helper was extremely kind and was the only reason we continued to have a good time.nn*please note their response to my review was about a complaint I didn’t even make. Their responds to bad reviews in general shows how unprofessional this business is.
