Monroe City store is cluttered. Some of the employees are very helpful. DG store in Hannibal next to Big Lots is great. Bre one of the managers is so sweet and helpful..Going there when in town.
Friendly staff good deals. Climate control should be at store level, not corporate level. Usually cold in winter amd hot in summer. Dress accordingly.
Every time you walk in there there's carts of stock sitting at every endcap sales would double if the product was on the shelves. You can't even push a cart around without running into something.
So under staffed!!!! Shelves are bare most of the time. The only redeeming quality of this store is the outstanding customer service!
This is a new location. It's still clean and fairly well organized. The people I encountered were nice enough. Parking lot was plentiful and it has both a front and back entrance to the parking lot. Over all, it's just your typical dollar store which isn't all that impressive. The tools, toys, cookware, silverware and other items are junk but then again, if you were looking for quality, you wouldn't be at a dollar store would you? The food is decent at a decent price so that's not bad at least. I shop here occasionally and will continue to do so when needed.
