I was in there on October 22nd at around 5:40 pm. A gentleman I see working there often was at the register. I picked out a 3.00 on (on sale) wine box they had along with a $2 scratcher. I man behind the counter told me the total was $11 something. I said before I placed my debit card in the machine that I didn’t think the total was correct. He then double checked and told me it was just the tax. $6.00 in tax for a $5 purchase? There was someone behind me so I didn’t argue I said I’d like my receipt then. I looked at receipt and it clearly showed he charged me an extra $5.99 the original price of the wine. He quickly said as I went back in and confronted him with the numbers he knew what he did and tried to explain. I was fed up because he double checked it before I paid and still tried to steal from me. I told him I don’t care what happened I just want my money. He then told me then he wants the products back that I bought!? I said that’s illegal you owe me the $6 you overcharged me and I get to keep my product. I then said I’ll call his manager and he said that was fine so I assume this while gas station staff is shady like him. He was clearly trying to rip me off and it was completely inappropriate of him to ask for the product back all because I caught him scamming me. Will never come back.

So I went there tonight to cash in my 2 dollar lottery ticket and use the Missouri lottery coupon that I had to purchase four more dollar lottery and a polar pop but some how i end not receiveing the two dollars I won on the lottery ticket and not using the two dollar coupon on what I wanted to use for. I try explaining to her where the two dollar winning ticket is at and she just smile at me so she is going to be over 2 dollar in her drawer tonight I was there.
