Dar-E-Creme has been a destination for residents in this little community looking for a tasty treat a long time. This isn't a chain store, but family owned. They have a menu of quick meal options of burgers and such. The Texas Toothpicks are my favorite, looking like french fries but are actually breaded fried pepper strips. The ice cream is high quality making all the treats special.

I always love their food and ice cream. This was my first time taking my husband as we live 4 hours away. He loved the mini tacos. That takes me right back to high school! Kids always love ice cream from here and it's become a tradition for us every time we come in to town.

By far one of my favorite places to eat! Friendly service and gets the orders right!! Absolutely the best chocolate malts on the planet!
