Great hiking!nnWe did the sandstone canyon trail. It's about 4 miles long, we did the hike in about 2 hours. It's well marked and it's COVERED, so even if it's a hot day you shouldn't be stuck out in the sun. If you go right at the start you will be rewarded with the cool rock formations at the end.
The beautiful nature that surrounds this land is breathtaking! I love hiking through here and Everytime I see something I missed the time before.
Beautiful trails with native flowers. Limited parking.
Great trails....the only complaint I do have is when we were walking the trails are not clearly identified. My friend and I had intended to walk a two mile loop and we thought something was fishy by the time we had walked four miles...so anyway we did end up coming to the end of the trail at 5 miles...and although we needed the excercise... for time sake it would be great if the trails were just a bit more marked.
We hiked the Sandstone Canyon Trail and it was awesome. It's 4 miles long, but we took the white connector short cut halfway through. It's cool to see the old house on the property, and there are some comfy rocking chairs to rest in while enjoying the view
