The Bradbury Bishop Deli Restaurant and Route 66 Diner was a Soda-fountain restaurant at 201 N. Main Street and the corner of E Daugherty St, is unfortunately closed since January 2013. It was owned by Carol Dudash, 65, who decided to retiring and by Sheri Roosevelt, 52, who took a new job with the Joplin School District. There were hundreds of small family restaurants like this one on Route 66, whose specialty was mixing traditional homemade sodas with ice cream.
