Clifford H. Nowlin Middle School

TO ALL THE PARENTS OF CHILDREN THAT ATTEND NOWLIN MIDDLE SCHOOL. THE STAFF DOES NOT CARE WHAT GOES ON IN THE SCHOOL THEY PICK AND CHOOSE WHO THEY LIKE. I HAVE SEVERAL TEXT MESSAGES FROM OTHER GIRLS THAT HAD SENT TO HER FRIENDS AND THEY FORWARDED THEM TO MY DAUGHTER. I AM GOING TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE TEXT AND POST THEM SOME OF THEM ARE VERY MEAN. PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CHILDREN THE OFFICE STAFF DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR KIDS. THEY SURE PUT ON A GOOD FRONT.

I would say that my experience here has not been great. I recently witnessed some safety issues that need to be fixed. This school does not handle bullying very well. The teachers are OK, but overall could be better.

In my opinion this school has teachers that play fights with the students I have also witnessed a teacher put a student in a head lock in a playful manner.but I just don't like this school

The staff is horrible in regards to bullying. I withdrew my daughter out of Nowlin at the beginning of last week and the counselor just called today. She left a message stating she couldn't understand what my message said but I left more than 1 message. I didn't bother calling back as that message was left over a week ago. Most of my daughters teachers were great though. She had 1 teacher that I won't name that wouldn't even let her leave the class to use the restroom which made me angry as all her other teachers complimented her behavior. My daughter will not go back to Nowlin, she will be homeschooled from now on. I hope the staff learns to handle bullying better than they do now and to return calls in a timely manner. It's ridiculous that I didn't get a call back until after I withdrew her. Good luck to any parents that have students in this school or will be in this school for 6th grade.

My daughter has refused to go to school after 2 years and 3 months of attending she just now says something. she's been telling me she doesnt wanna go this week! Her friends are being bullied so she hates it and they never do anything. She only likes a few teachers and she still will not go to class. She keeps saying to send her to a new school!
