Worst city of all of KC metro. Good people are leaving in droves. My mom almost bought a $247000 house here but I told her don't do it because nothing is trash bin is worth more than $98000.

Horribly rude, talked over me the entire time.nnJust moved here from Atlanta and was treated like an inferior citizen, NOT encouraging news from their government. That's not helping either party, deterring potential homeowners.... Truly sad.nnWorse off the coordinator out front wasn't concerned either.nnIs this how Independence treats minorities??nnEthically disgusted by such ignorance.
