Orange had a lot of apartments to choose from. I like that they had online payments and maintenance requests. Their maintenance guy Dale was great!

When we first were looking at apartments the guy showing us around was extremely nice and helpful. He even lowered the rent payment a little to help us out. But little did we know that this place was extremely dirty, and just idk. I get there old but when we moved in and cleaned the floors my swifter jet was literally black. It was disgusting. Now I'm a clean freak so maybe that's acceptable to someone else but not me. The carpet smelt like piss when we moved in even though it looks new. The dryers located in our building don't work worth a damn. One dryer doesn't even work. (There's three) you have to pay for three of even four loads before my clothes were even dry. And once they came out they smelt like dirty feet. I don't know if it's because it's a community washer and dryer so they don't get cleaned or if other people's dirty clothes smell are lingering.nEvery time I call them asking to do some upkeep on the apartment they answer with a tone like ugh seriously you're gonna make me do work?nI called them to let them know my toilet was running water and was literally running every second and made it hard to fall asleep with that sound. They had the maintence guy come up who is absolutely the sweetest guy. He fixed it but then it started running again so I called and told them. And the person on he phone said my toliet runs all the time it's normal!!! Okay but I can't sleep with it running like that! Anyways they never fixed it.nI called again. And the person who answered the phone sounded so annoyed that I was asking them to fix Our air conditioner since it broke. After waiting a week after I called them I never heard anything or saw anything fixed. So I called them to see what is going on. They said they ordered a new one. And should be put in next week. I waited a week and the maintence guy came up only to find out they ordered the wrong size of air conditioner. So they had to order another one. And that was a week ago and I'm STILL waiting on it being fixed! And let me tell you sleeping without an ac is no fun and having my animals pant because they're so hot is not fun either. And getting horrible headaches because the apartment is so hot is horrible. And I still haven't heard from anybody what's going on but if you try to cal them then they make you feel like a bother. I get that maybe air conditioning is a luxury but I signed a lease saying the apartment came with an air conditioner so if it's broken I feel like they should have fixed it asap instead of taking their time.nEven though the guy lowered the rent and was so so so helpful, I can not wait to move out of this place! I would not recommend this to anybody. I've even heard around town that these properties never keep up to date on their buildings. I wish I would have heard this before I signed a lease. There are extremely nice and wonderful people who work for this business but my lord it takes forever for them to fix something and it seems like they hate spending money to fix things. Such as the dryers.
