From the time you drive up, not clean. Smells like a musty locker room. Joe can tell you everything but the truth on the phone. He wasn't on site when we arrived. Showed us our room as he bragged about how clean everything was. The floors needed vacuuming and mopping. There was something crawling up in the ceiling. He didn't know how the lights came on and when he did there was hundreds of lead bugs in the lights. The owner's need to pay attention to what is happening. When the power plant closes so should this place.
Our 3rd time staying here for an extended stay (husband's work) there are 3 bedroom apartments and 1 bedroom apartments. This time is our first stay in a 1 bedroom but even it is spacious clean furnished and nice and Joe the owner couldn't be a more accommodating nicer guy!
Not bad for a small town motel. Service was excellent. The rooms could all use a heavy cleaning from top to bottom.
The staff caring and the furniture is well kept, however, the overall building and rooms are grungy and in need of an overall.
