Servers in most restaurants these days are not trained like we were when I was serving and managing Coco's and Reuben's. If you're a server here's a piece of good advice: when you bring something to your customers, don't just plop it on the table and run off. Stay a few SECONDS to make sure the people at your tables don't need anything else, and that everything is okay with the food they're eating. It'll add to your tip income, guaranteed!! That's my only complaint with this store - oh yeah, I thought the potato cheese soup was way too salty, almost to the point that I couldn't eat it. My server didn't know this because he didn't stay at my table long enough for me to tell him. Our server brought a fresh, steamy hot hunk of cornbread and honey butter with our ice water so we could remove our masks and enjoy some incredibly tasty cornbread while we looked at the (very limited) menu. I definitely recommend dining in if you're able to, versus having Marie's delivered to ensure you get what you ordered and your food is fresh.

We arrived at 3:45 and were seated given a menu and asked for drinks. Drinks arrived at about 3:50. We needed a minute to order. At 3:53 I looked at my phone as we wanted the lunch special which ended at 4:00. I made a mental note that it would be odd if our waitress didn’t get back in time what I would say to her. At that point a gentleman was at the counter to pick up a takeout order. He plainly started that they had quoted him a price of $13 and change. They were charging him. $18.99. He was adamant and they called the manager but she called him a liar and wouldn’t budge. Our waitress arrived at our table at exactly 4:00. No lunch special. I immediately told her I needed a minute not 7. She responded negatively and I asked for the manager. She came over and defended her waitress by calling me a liar and told us to leave. We were happy to oblige. Applebee’s was happy to receive our business.

Avoid this place! Wish we had read Kelly's review first, and we would have skipped Marie Callender's on Stephanie tonight, especially the server and manager's attitudes that will surely lose them more customers. Would give zero stars if we could. We came for Happy Hour and were pleased to see our server even wearing her Happy Hour shirt. Then she told us they didn't have Happy Hour at this location, even though their website says they do. The manager came over and said they do $2 off beer & wine only, no 1/2 price apps. She tried to tell us the "Beer & wine" only on this location's website meant no happy hour apps, but that was intended to mean they don't have a full bar, so no cocktails or draft beer specials here, not no apps - or so were told when we inquired of our lunch server a few days ago. That's why we came back for Happy Hour tonight. We each drank our one glass of wine we had already ordered. Then our server actually said she wouldn't serve us. We left, and won't be coming back.

Love their food and pies. But can't order anything online. For a Thanksgiving order tried over a dozen times, won't accept it, drop-down panel says to call the local number. Phoned the Henderson store every five seconds for 74 times, got in twice, rang 12-15 times each time, then disconnected me. Don't blame it on the Covid, this is when your online MUST work folks.

First time dining at Marie Callendars. No wait. Waiter nice but could be a little more personable. Large menu of comfort food to choose from. Some dinner dishes a little costly for a comfort food restaurant but very good food. Appetizers (chili with corn bread & mozzarella sticks) really tasty. Pot roast was ok. Shrimp&chicken Alfredo Very good and chicken Pot pie very good. Overall good service and food good. Restaurant decor could use some updates.
