Went look at washer, not bought one yet.. sales lady, very nice. Wrote prices , and total cost of 2 washers.. SPEED QUEEN.. good basic washers, like use to make years ago.. that lasted for long time... I am going to buy one, just looking now.nice and very knowledgable. Bj

Posted 1/14/20nI really appreciate your response. I will continue to use Cook’s appliance when needed. One mediocre encounter doesn’t steer me away from using a company. Some times first impressions are not always the best and I get that.nBut if did know about the other second $235. I would have been able to tell my warranty company about it and I could have been reimbursed for it if I told them ahead of time. But due to not being told about it till the last day of service, I won’t be reimbursed because they were never given that estimate ahead of time. This is the main reason for my frustration. Thank you guys for your service.nnPosted 1/13/20nMy experience in the beginning was great, my technician Travis was great too. But it was the last day they came out when I was very unhappy. I paid $235 for an initial service which they told me about. But then I had to pay it again at the end because I didn’t buy parts through them. This is why am I upset. I called Cooks appliance many times to let them know that the parts have come for my product and not once did they tell me that I would be charged again a service fee of $235 because I didn’t buy parts through them. My technician stated that he told my wife but my wife told me she was never told and I very much believe my wife. There is definitely some discrepancy and lack of communication with Cooks Appliance. An example would be when I would call and ask for information regarding part numbers so my warranty company could order them, again the had the opportunity to tell me they would charge me the same service fee again, but they did not. Also when I would call regarding part numbers or reschedule a service, it would take them 4-5 hours to get back to me because they have to pull my original ticket, and there were times they would not get back to me at all, I would have to call back again the next day. But when my technician Travis calls during a service to get numbers/codes from a ticket from months ago it takes them 5-10 minutes, I understand that they are busy but they can’t be busy every time I call. So this experience wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible. They are all very friendly. But I paid them $470 due their lack of communication, the experience would have been great if the communication was more clear. But the job is done and Travis did it well.

Just phoned and spoke with a gentleman who apparently did not need nor want my business. Informed me only one washer in stock, gave me the price and then I asked regarding a used washer, his reply was if they had one he would included it along with inventory on the new one. Low inventory due to Covid-19, stimulus etc. But no offer to check with Springfield store! Customer service at best!

Thank you to Travis and the Cooks appliance team. I was not happy with my old oven and I've dealt with it for years. I went to Cooks in Nixa and I was able to find one I liked and at a great price. Who cares if it has scratches or dings, I have kids running around the house all day. they were able to deliver and install the unit the same day. I've already used the oven and I am one happy gal; I love my new oven and my family is happy too. Thank you again.
