The elevator wasn't working and the light fixtures in my room didn't have any light bulbs in and it took two days to get the light bulbs.
Your first clue that your fellow travelers here are not going to the nearby North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park are the variety of license plates on the oversized diesel pickups in the parking lot. The second clue may be the groups of men clustered around those trucks, drinking beer and smoking while music blares. Or the requirement of the front desk that they photocopy and keep your driver's license until they inventory your room after your stay.nnThe room itself was comfortable and well-laid out, with very nice toiletries. The bed was pretty good. Bedding and towels were also good.nnYou don't need to set an alarm clock here. The slamming of doors and voices in the halls at 5:30 are all you need. Or maybe you want to sleep later? Diesel pickups start rumbling at 6.nnYou'll have the breakfast area to yourself by 7:30, but breakfast items and the attendant's patience are pretty much gone by then. There's always Folger's instant coffee in the machine, though.
