This is hands down the best place to go grocery shopping. Now it is a little more expensive than going to Walmart but the quality is completely worth it. Also the flora section is outstanding!!!! Beth in floral is the best person to talk to, she has helped me every single time and went above and beyond.
I spend 7 thousand a year here. However shopping in the evening can be frustrating if your only grabbing a few items. If you dont think you need a cart your wrong. If you walk in and grab a milk gallon and a 12 pack you will be holding them in line a long time. If a manager sees you they will help you right away, excellent service......if they see you. Not enough to withhold a star. Best meat, best butchers ,best cooks, freshest produce around. 5 stars for hy vee.
The best grocery store ever!! Everyone is super friendly and has lots of choices on food items.. it's definitely worth the 35 min drive!
