I took my 2018 MacBook Pro Touch Bar to tiger tech this week with some water damage. They told me my laptop was done for it and I needed a brand new one. I decided to get a second opinion from the apple certified technicians at Gravity downtown and they said that I could pay to have it all cleaned and dried on the inside for $250. After they cleaned it, it passed all logistical tests. It was not a very good first experience of using tiger tech for repairs.
This is a decent store to look around. I don't recommend buying anything here. I would recommend buying a computer from Sam's Club/Best Buy/Apple - Dell store directly. Here is why:n- bad customer servicen- bad return policynThe managers and students working here have a terrible communication gap. So even if they tell you something about the return/other policy - double, triple check! Or just don't buy anything here!
Saved me a ton of time by not having to drive back to Kansas City and have my macbook repaired at the apple store. Simple hardware fix and only took about 30 minutes! The repair was covered under AppleCare. Would highly recommend.
Great service. They have been able to diagnose every Apple related issue I have had better than Apple themselves! Apple is too concerned with trying to prove they are not at fault for even minor issues with their products while these guys are more focused on solving the issue and getting me back on track.
Personally would like to tell the lady who just gave this a poor review that tiger tech is for students who can explain a problem, not to read minds of a 75 year old. As someone who has had countless problems, they have done nothing less than fix it perfectly
