Lot of fun there

I hate to tell everyone how nice this place is - we'd rather it be our secret - but The Old School Center deserves some recognition. The owners, Deb and Mike couldn't be nicer and they both look like retired movie stars. The food is just bar food but it is very good especially if Tony is in the kitchen. You can see the kitchen from the bar and it is spotless.nnWe stayed in the RV park out back for a couple of weeks. The utilities were good and steady. The wifi is good although we didn't use it for anything more than email/browsing. Our neighbors said you could stream Netflix. There are some issues with the RV park being a bit muddy but Mike is adding layers of gravel which is really helping. The winters are hard on roads in North Dakota. The bar can get rowdy on the weekend but the locals are incredibly nice people, so who cares?nnThe area is remote-ish but the grocery store in Crosby, about 30 miles away, is excellent. The town of Williston is about an hour away and they have several grocery stores, a Walmart and a Menard's and other services. There is a small grocery store on-site which carries a lot of basics at fair prices.nnFinally, if you are full time like we are you'll appreciate the fact that they can easily handle your Amazon orders. They have a secure room devoted to mail and package deliveries. We had several rounds of packages with no issues.nnLike I said, I'd like to see this place remain our secret but if you find yourself up on the Highline, please consider The Old School Center.
