I discovered the team at Steffes Agency and Professional Insurance Services, Inc. during a personal re-evaluation of my insurance portfolio a few years ago that was triggered when my personal auto insurance rates at my prior insurer began to get rather high (in our case, for drivers with clean records). But I shop value…not just price. So it’s important to me that coverages are compared as ‘apples to apples’. So I need to have the confidence my coverages are solid and I know what I’m getting for the price, but policy documentation is often like another language to me. So I tend to depend a lot on agents for my personal education – for me, the education ends up being as important part of the decision process as policy integrity and price.nnI’ve never encountered a more talented, professional, patient, and high-integrity group of agents in my life. They employ an old-school mentality of earning your business through performance. Imagine that. They flat-out know the business and they care about their clients! Now that I am a self-employed consultant, my insurance needs have more than quadrupled, along with my risk and the need for being more savvy about insurance. I simply wouldn’t go anywhere else because the group consistently educates and delivers the goods on both the personal and business sides of the house…and I’ve never felt the pressure or urgency to make a decision before I’m ready.nnOh yea, about that personal auto insurance comparison? I was stunned when the quotes resulted in realized, combined actual savings of over $600 annually for two drivers…for slightly better coverage! No brainer.

I’m not sure if the reviews on this are real but the service from this place is pretty bad let alone the rates they give on auto insurance lol. I had previously edited a policy I was under and instead of issuing cash back it was a credit which is basically like going to a store returning product with a receipt and getting a store gift card lol. The staff is professional to an extent but I will never give these clowns another dollar.

We have been getting our insurance from Shirlene Schafer for 35 plus years because of the service, honesty, and she’s always there to help. It is nice these days to have customer service and Shirlene and Steffes are the best! We are treated as friends and Shirlene always gets back to me if I have a question.
