Lovely place to catch some shade and rest between long hauls on the road.
Very nice park, though I visited in February, I'm sure it's quite green in the summer. It's well maintained, nice pavilions, very clean.
Significant Santa Fe Trail site.
The park is very nice for picnics and walking. There are ballfields and an information board describing the significance of the area. Nothing, however, is left of the ranch and no plaque, even, to show where it once stood.
Clean and the people were friendly.
