We did not hire Kirk's remodeling, so this is not a review of the quality of their work.nnThe quote process was slow, cryptic, and unprofessional. We were upfront about our budget (which in hindsight was probably our mistake). The quote Josh came back with was double our budget even though after coming our to take a look, he assured us it would be close. When asked about different options to bring it back within our range, he offered several explanations (moving the plumbing, choosing a different shower door, etc) for the huge increase from what he'd verbally estimated. When we asked to make those changes to see the new numbers, he said it wouldn't actually change the quote very much.nnIt appears to me that either their sales process is dishonest and manipulative, or they don't know their business well enough to provide accurate estimates or advise their customers well on their options.
