KC Children's Surgery Center

I really can't give a rating on the work there but I want to warn anyone on Medicaid you need to have them check and see if it is covered on your plan ASAP. I took my son thetr for his evaluation. Then set up a appt to have it done (5 weeks later). So 4 weeks down the road I get a call saying that the medical part is not covered in his plan that costs $2000+ and I have to have it up front. Cant make payments on the medical part (which it does not say on the papers you sign saying you are responsible for anything not covered in your mefical plan) but could on the dental (which is covered) I told the girl I wish she had told me sooner. I could have been looking for a different dentist. His appt is only 1 week away. I've waited 4 weeks already. She said I'm sorry I didn't have it for you the day you were here. (Sarcasism) I just said within a week would have been fine but a month later? I asked has this happened before and she said yes

I went here today for my daughters 6 cavities to be filled by method of anesthesia due to her not letting a dentist get anywhere near her. The staff was amazing and very upfront and honest about the whole procedure from beginning to end everyone was extremely professional and kind. We were in and out sooner than I thought we would be as well and they made sure she was taken care of. Great place to take children and very very clean.

The staff and Doctor were extremely caring, understanding, and emotionally available! Their bedside manner was impeccable! I would definitely say that I would take my children to this dentist for anything dealing with children, whether they are disabled, or not, this place is very valuable to the community and extremely professional in every way!!

It was really great to see Dr Berry again and I am very happy that Victoria was able too be seen

Very great care. They were quick and knowledgeable. Kept me informed during my childs surgery.
