Horrible bed side manner. Rude and condescending in tone. She walked out in the middle of me talking to her. I was so floored about how mean she was to me. I was so dissatisfied I spoke with the office manager or whomever is over the doctors because I just couldn't believe how horrible of am experience I had with her. If you value respect and being treated equal and like a human being RUN!! Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

After waiting months for an appointment, I arrived to find the office had moved. I feel totally bummed find out I'd have to wait several more months for another appointment, at bo fault of my own.nZero communication skills on thier part.

Love Lisa Waxman! Shes a little bubbly but I love that about her. I have been to her a few times. I had Breast Cancer in 2010 so I'm very concerned about Skin cancers now. She's honest about what spots she is concerned about scraping. Very knowledgeable in her field. Have been to a couple other dermatologist that have no idea about spots. They are always wanting to do long process patch testing that isn't cheap. Lisa has always directed me in the right way. All my scrapings have always healed with no scarring.

I am very disappointed. After going to see a dermatologist within the same group at the Johnson County office I'm still having the same issues as I was before. I scheduled an appointment with a different dermatologist at an office in Wyandotte County only to show up and tell me that they didn't accept my insurance. Seems like they're just out to make money as the person working at the front desk told me that since I had been seen at the Johnson County office there going to be any issue. This is too bad as dr. Waxman is an amazing dermatologist and her business is suffering because of this unprofessionalism.

Good luck getting a call back. I've called for months leaving a message to set up an appt. Online appt set up is also impossible. I've tried to set up an appt for 3 months. I was really looking forward to using a derm. a few miles from my house instead of 20+ minutes away.
