May 23, 2019 Under highest water ever. 30 plus feet. Bluffs will be back and Beautiful as the Tulsa District Army Corps of Engineers releases water for its trip to the Gulf of Mexico. Lots of wood debris. I'm guessing Volunteers will be welcome and it will be 5 stars as usual.
Really enjoyed my time out here as I was passing through. The lake is great, the hiking trails are nice, fishing was pretty good, and the sunset was incredible. This is a great campground with lots of options to choose from. I camped on the west side with a great site overlooking the water.
My daughter's and I went here to celebrate the life of my nephew who we lost. The grounds were clean bathrooms & showers worked and my 6 yo had a lot of fun at the playground. I wish we could have stayed longer.
The campground was well maintained. We had an enjoyable stay.
