Because they don't have breakfast
First I would like to say, Angela is just as awesome as everyone has said in these reviews! The rooms are really clean. Nice pool and hot tub! The view from our 8th floor room is beautiful! The rooms are slightly out dated technology wise, but they are very comfortable!
Friendly Radisson employees. Always friendly when I went by front desk, I remember Liz and Angela especially, but everyone at the desk was as friendly at all times of day and night. Deon in the bar was always good for a friendly conversation at the bar over a beer. Would definately go back to this hotel. Nearby restaurants and bars made it easy to leave my vehicle and walk a block or 2 for some pool or wings.
We have stayed here before and they always so accommodating, especially when we are here because a loved one is in the hospital. COVID-19 has changed a few things, like not having the good coffee in the lobby, but they give you as many coffee packets as you want so you can enjoy coffee in your room. They don’t come to clean during your stay, unless you ask for it, but they will get you anything you need. And I have to say that Angela at the front desk was so helpful, as were the others, but I guess we asked Angela for things more than the others. And it is so convenient to stay here and only have to walk across the street to visit!
This is my second stay in 10 days. 2 different rooms on the same floor.nThe beds in both rooms are very lumpy, it’s weird I don’t understand why all the beds are lumpy it doesn’t make sense.nThis visit, the TV was on when we got to our room and the sink drain was set stopped. It had some yellow in it, not sure what. This time there was a bag over the TV remote, I get trying to be “safe” but like put a bag on the lamp knobs or the phone or the clock. The clock Is an hour and two minutes fast...bad if you need to set it. Good thing I have a phone.nThe staff was all polite. On my first visit we had dinner. The bartender was very nice and attentive, even though 5-6 workers were there getting wasted and being loud af.nI had a Caesar salad with salmon, the salad was pretty tiny and had no croutons or anything but the dressing was alright.nThe parking structure is pretty bad...you gotta be super careful if you have a large vehicle like our Tahoe.nLumpy beds man, why?
