Location is convenient to the local nightlife and shopping in the area. Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and very helpful. When we got to our first room, there was a very strong marijuana smell in the hallway that was making its way into our room. The clerk at the front desk was very quick to move us to another room on another floor. He was also very determined to rectify that situation. There is a parking garage you can use (it’s on the left immediately after you pass the hotel entrance). The rooms themselves are nicely decorated. My only complaint would be the mattress. It wasn’t the worst I’ve slept on but it definitely could have been better. If you want a historical stay while your in Wichita, this is your place!
It was awesome and sweet
Clearly a tremendous effort went into the remodel of this building. The Keen Kutter displays on each floor are a nice touch. No detail seems to have been overlooked. Our room was superb. Comfortable and quiet. Easy sleep. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return here.
The suite with the jacuzzi is the way to go. Yes it is more..... but it is a suite and the room is very much lovely! We got the a corner suite and the spaciousness was worth the extra money.
Best for bar hopping - only a block from the main sprawl of Old Town bars & venues. Staff was also great. I spent about half of a day repiecing the night I drunkenly lost my wallet in one of over 10 venues, which was fun as a puzzle, but was so relieved to get the call that staff had found it and would keep it safe until my hangover waned. Also super swanky hotel, don't bother with chain hotels if you have the funds to stay here!!!
