My girlfriend and I booked a cruise for November 29th of this year. We received an email three weeks prior that our trip was canceled. We tried to move the date for February 2021 (same type of cruise, destinations, and days) but they wanted to charge us more instead of the same price. If we wanted to book the same price we, would have to only book around the same time of the year in 2021! Who the hell would want to wait another year to go on a cruise?nnI gave the Department's many chances to reconsider but they decided to lose $2,500 instead of just $900.nnTheir resolution department is slammed with calls because many customers are unsatisfied. Just do yourself a favor and get a refund. Keep track of your refund for the next 45 days. Ive read other reviews that people have still not received their refund.

What a scam!nI have been on over 10 cruises with Royal Caribbean and I’m disappointed to see how low they have stooped in their new get rich quick scheme. So disappointed in what used to be a great company.nnI booked my cruise with them on the July 15th and paid $500. At the time they told me that I had to pay the balance in five days and I told him that was fine no problem. I did not realize that they would not just automatically charge the balance. I assumed they would charge my card and proceeded to leave on a vacation with my wife to Colorado for 10 days.nnWhen I returned home yesterday and checked my personal email I found an email from them stating they had taken my $500 and canceled my room. When I called I was told that they don’t bother to call anybody or text anybody before stealing their money. It is their new policy to just take the money and only communicate with one email. Apparently they have found that by not communicating with their customers they can steal more money from them.nnI feel like this was unbelievably corrupt and recommend you do not trust them with your money. After wasting two hours on the phone and going through three supervisors I was eventually told that they would give me back my $500 but they were going to increased the price of the cabin by $450… They might as well have been holding a gun to my head when they stole my money.nnI have been on over 30 cruises in my life and will never ever ever trust these crooks with my money again. Disappointed in Cincinnati!!

My wife and I have taken multiple cruises with them since we've been married and have been pleased. There is no question that they offer a value that other cruise lines do not offer. The food is very good and in their earlier days, it was exceptional. No one goes away from a Royal Caribbean cruise hungry. Whether you are a partier or a pool side reader, there will be something on a Royal Caribbean cruise for you.
