Colonial Heights Church was the church I grew up in under the Hollis leadership and their biblical teachings which still to this day have served me and given me the tools to regain and navigate the highs and lows of life...recently I have returned home to Wichita and have found a sense of community and belonging once again under the leadership of Mark and Star Combs and with their hands on empathy and welcoming of all to worship I have fallen back in love with the church I call HOME! Great youth and children programs and encourage you to check it out and find your place!

I feel a sense of belonging here; pleasent greetings, smiles, hand shakes, the occasional hug, and words of encouragement. I experience the love of God through His people and I can feel the presence of God through His Spirit; especially during the praise service. I have chosen this as my place of worship; and a place where I'm able to serve God and minister to others through teaching young children, volunteering to help in other capacities, and just loving people as God has instructed and Jesus exemplified throughout His life. This is my church home and the people there are my family.ud83dude42

God is ever present! This is a place where I always feel welcome. The Pastors not only teach the Word, they live the Word! The people are truly interested in you and take the time to listen. They pray and play with you. We honestly enjoy each others company.
