I just had hernia surgery a couple of weeks ago. Dr. Gaston is extremely professional as is his staff. My main concern as an avid runner was if I would be able to still run my races. Dr. Gaston assured me that I'd be back running in no time in the way he does the surgery (the mesh goes on the inside...not the outside). No surgery is pleasant but if you have to have it... definitely go to someone who has experience and knows what they're doing... Dr. Gaston definitely knows what he's doing...Oh...and I'm already back running. :) :) :)

Dr. Gaston removed our daughter's appendix after an ER diagnosis. From beginning to end, he was personable and professional! We appreciated that he didn't make us feel rushed while updating us after our daughter's surgery. Hopefully we never have to see him again under professional circumstances, but if so, we'll be in good hands! Thank you, Dr. Gaston!

Parking lot does not have a front entrance if you are running late. Make sure you enter the building from the front or you will be in the wrong place. Not many offices in the building. Water fountain next to elevator or stairs just inside the door works well. Nice staff, very professional.

I was absolutely disappointed is Dr. Gaston attitude towards my mother. My mother has a hernia and we went in to see him to schedule surgery and he was the rudest person I have ever met. First, he absolutely refused to do her surgery until she quit smoking for a month. (He didnt ask if she drank or did drugs but by golly her smoking affects everything. My mother doesnt take pain pills because she doesnt believe in them and smoking is the only thing that helps somewhat take her mind off of her MS. That is a bunch of poop. I have had multiple surgeries and smoked, and so has my mother .) To top it off he decides to make her feel bad about having Multiple Sclerosis and reiterates to her that it may make it harder for him to do the surgery and then continued to ask her what her trouble with her arm is (her right arm is paralyzed from her MS which was clearly stated in her chart.) Then decides to go back into the smoking issue. That is my mothers choice of pain relief and who is it for him to judge. I am just EXTREMELY disappointed with the gentlemans professionalism and lack of caring for the amount of pain she is in. She didnt go in asking for pain pills or anything of the sorts. She went in for a surgery consultation. She didnt go in to be judged. I will be taking her to another local surgeon who doesnt discriminate.
