Best Buy

Since Covid there is virtually no customer service whatsoever this store will be out of business by the end of the year. Fact is not everything can be done or purchased online. You're going to have to seriously step up your service game or Best Buy will be no more. This store is not as large as the other two stores in Wichita. Nor do they carry as many options of merchandise there..... I am a little bummed that they are discontinuing selling compact discs in the store the digital age has completely taken over..

We walked in looking for a specific item i knew there was only two left because I looked into it on line before hand. We stood there at the front door for a minute because she was finishing up with the other employee....We found what we wanted but sales person on the floor had no knowledge at all about electronics... Please put people in a department they know something about...

First off...stood over in computer section for 10 minutes before someone came to assist and I wasn't the only person waiting. The laptop I asked about was out of stock and no one could say whether I could order it or not. Inquired about a 2nd laptop and had 1 in stock. Otherwise when finally found someone to assist, it was a good encounter.

When I dropped my MacBook pro off to be shipped to Apple for repairs they stated it would be done in 5-7 business days. They’re repair tracking showed it shipped same day but never updated to reflect that Apple received it after it showed delivered per the UPS tracking provided. After a few more business days I called the store to get an update which they stated to call Apple with my repair number to see where it is, after calling Apple and providing the repair number Best Buy have to me Apple stated they can’t track my computer due to Best Buy not giving me the correct number.nnAnother call to Best Buy and I am rerouted to a geek squad center separate from the store I dropped off at. They then told me I needed the repair center that they can not transfer me too. I then call the warehouse and find out it’s not 5-7 business days but 2-3 weeks before it even gets to Apple.nnI ask them to send it back and it takes them another week to get it to the store I dropped it off at. When I call to make sure it’s there for pick up they want to charge me $35 because I had them send it back not repaired, absolutely not I then have to argue with the rep that they failed to keep their promise and I will not be punished for it.nnI stand in line for 20minutes waiting to get it and when the geek squad rep brings it out he says “yeah, good luck with that.” Pushes it into my hands and walks off.nnWow I miss SimplyMac, never again will I or any member of my family step foot in this Best Buy again. We have far better repair centers in Wichita that are locally owned.

Very helpful staff! Patient and knowledgeable. They had just what I wanted. Week days are more laid back. Great staff.. Nice store!
