I had recently purchased a new battery for my car. Within a few months, it was dying unexpectedly, threatening to strand me somewhere. I had Interstate Battery test it. The battery was fine, so it lead me to believe the alternator was going out. I was unable to get my car scheduled with a mechanic to get the alternator repaired for a week. This left me at risk of being stranded somewhere. I was speaking with the employee on duty at that time, Tim, about buying a portable jump pack to ensure I didn't get stranded. When Tim found out that I worked as a LEO, he didn't want me to have to buy the jump pack to use for only a week, so he loaned me the store's jump pack! The peace of mind it gave me to know I wouldn't get stranded somewhere meant a lot to me. And the support he showed to me as a member of the law enforcement community, when it's popular these days to scorn us socially, showed me the type of character Interstate Battery employs. In today's times, good customer service has become a unicorn. So when Tim offered to help me out the way he did, his customer service went a long way with me. I was able to return it a week later. The customer service the manager and clerk on duty at that time, when I explained the whole story to them, was also above and beyond. I shopped Interstate Battery before this due to the convenience of the store. Now, they've earned a customer for life. Thanks Tim!
