I grew up going to this place, used to be amazing back in the day. The quality has definitely gone down hill. I think the only intresting part to me still is the fish area, that place has always been decent every time I've gone. The rodents are kept together in small cages, constantly breeding, as well as birds, and the ferret cage is nasty most of the time. Not to mention, the other day, they had housed rabbits and Guinea pigs together. I'm a huge animal lover and this place used to be amazing, but the staff and lack of wanting to take care of the store is disappointing.

Maybe due to the pandemic, the demand is bigger than the supply, because a lot was missing on the shelf. I was impressed at how many fish they had in the back area. I will agree with some other reviews, in pointing out the place seemed chaotic and dirty. The guy who answered my questions seemed very knowledgeable about fish, which was very great. He made a backhanded remark, so that is the reason I went didn’t give a 4 star rating. I didn’t focus on the other animals they sold to validate their living conditions, but definitely was impressed by their angelfish!

This store is in horrific conditions. For starters, I haven’t been there in years and decided to pop in and look for freshwater plants for my tank. I found a piece of nice driftwood and decided to buy some ghost shrimp as well to add to my tank. The girl DROPS the shrimp I bought on the floor and had to get more. I understand accidents happen, but it was very cringe worthy. I like to admire tanks when I see them, and the tanks looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. I most certainly was not going to add their algae filled plants to my tank. I also saw a “hardly alive” red betta that was literally on his last fin. The animal cages towards the front looked liked they hadn’t had a proper wipe down or a decent cleaning in ages and THEN the front counter, computers had an inch of dust on it. Whoever manages this places really needs to teach the importance of proper animal care. I am horrified and truly disappointed with these conditions, I will buy elsewhere.
