While I've had my own issues with just Church in general most of my life, I've been attending 1st Free for over 20 years now. I've been involved with Bible Study Classes, Sunday Class Studies, Choir, Women's Ministry Events and Regular Church Services, I have enjoyed all of these activities. While I don't believe that any one person, business or group is ever perfect, as none of us are perfect in this world, I've have not found another Church in Wichita that I say feels like HOME to me! I call 1st Free my Home Church and will always call it my HOME Church. The pastors are caring, knowledgeable and the people attending have always made me feel welcome. While there have been times that I have not been in attendance that has been due to health issues of my own and not any problems with the Church, Church pastors or the persons attending this church. I have always found them to all be caring and welcoming. I absolutely would recommend 1st Evangelical Free Church in Wichita, Kansas.

A true Bible preaching church that believes the Word does the work. Best to bring your Bible because you're going to need it! They aim to equip you to be desciples that made desciples.nnVery intentional with missions both local and global.

First Free Wichita is a 9 Marks church that is also a part of the EFCA. This church has been written about on the blog The Wondering Eagle. I have been approached about issues inside First Free. My blog explores issues and challenges inside the EFCA, and the Neo or New Calvinist movement is one of the many problems inside the EFCA.
