Wilson's Appliance

When I called up here about purchasing a used dryer I was told that they had a bunch of them for $100 in good working condition. When I arrived the guy told me the $100 ones were outside! He walked me a around for a bit showing me different dryers that were at least 20+ years old and rusted out from sitting outside. I ended up buying one closer to $200 and it looked good other than a scratch on the front which he quickly told me he would touch up with appliance paint before delivering it to my house later that day. First, they didn’t show up at all the first day. I had to call multiple times before reaching someone and they finally came the next day. We realized after the first load was put in it did not dry our clothes. I called and left a bunch of messages with a guy that kept telling me he would talk to the owner and call me back- but never did. After about a week I finally got ahold of the old man and he said they would be right over to look at it and bring a replacement Incase it was not fixable. They determined it needed to be fixed and took it out and brought a different one that looked 10 years older than the one I originally purchased. When bringing it in the guy slid his dolly across my hardwood floors and scratched it up. He didn’t even say he was sorry just acted like it’s what you should expect when moving appliances. After He left we noticed this one does not have the lent trap screen in it. I called and left messages again but never heard back. Now about 2 months later, the second replacement dryer does not dry our clothes either. The older gentleman was nice but you can’t ever reach him. His employees are awful. Will never do business with them again.

Very frustrating. They are showing their items for sale on Facebook Market place. We were looking for a deep freezer. There was one listed with a picture. I called to see if they still had it. They said no but the had the same thing in a different color. The picture for the one on Facebook looked almost new or in really good shape. We left work early and drove 45 miles and the two they had in different colors were over 25 years old and rusted. Nothing like the condition on the pictures they have posted online. Guy said everything they sell is refurbished, which is fine except that isn't how they represent the product on their marketplace add. Seems to be a bit of bait and switch.

My wife and I moved into a new home in west Wichita and needed a washer. We don't like how short lived new washers are or how expensive parts are. We went there and they had a washer for us to buy and pick up same day. Washer worked fine for a month, but started having issues. Dan Wilson is the owner and while he is busy, he still made the time to help me find the right part and cover some of the cost.
