We enjoyed our brief stay at Sundown RV Park. We were able to obtain reservations on short notice. The camp host was gracious and accommodating. The system is automated and easy to use. The site we had was perfect for our 40 ft 5th wheel. There are some sites with full hook ups, some with electric and water. A dump station is also available. There is a nice veranda with complimentary gas grill. Sundown also has easy access to Intestate 70. There is a coded security gate as well. A military and senior discount is also available. All sites are level and clean. It is located at exit 244.

What a wonderful camping experience!!! Especially during this pandemic to be able to check in without human contact. The automatic gate and pass code allowed us to arrive late without worry of locating a camp host. Utilities were all in excellent order and the camp is clean, well lighted and attractively landscaped!!! Will definitely stay here again. Oh yes and the price is so reasonable!! Appreciate the military discount!!!!

We were driving in from Colorado and needed a place to stay the night, everywhere was booked but Sundown and when I called he was unbelievably nice, helpful and knew what he was doing. We pulled in and had the password for the gate sent to the wrong email and he immediately sent it to the right one and got us in in no time at all. We got all set up and were headed to the shop across the street to get food when he walked up to us and said there was a bad storm on its way and was going to hit. We said we would ride it out, but he said it would be bad wind and baseball size hail and that we should definitely leave. We were very sad to leave this place, it’s not big, nor does it have a store but it is the perfect place to stop for the night. Thanks for the spot even though we couldn’t use it and thanks for offering to refund the money even though that was the least of our worries. Definitely recommend

We were traveling to CO when a bad storm with high winds made it too much for us to keep driving. We pulled off at the first gas station we saw and thankfully Sundown was right across the street. I got online, reserved a spot. It was so easy and super fast! You receive a code to open the gate and that’s it! I would highly recommend staying here for convenience and ease of access. We were traveling back from Colorado to go home and wished we could find a place to stop like sundown!
