Very nice place for the money! I was told it's under new owners that are really trying to fix it up. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
Room 109 (King) had a fresh farmhouse-theme decor. Recently (apparently) refurbished bath area and carpet looked new. Large flat-screen tv, and WiFi available. Very pleasant updated decor in lobby and breakfast area. Welcoming check-in experience. Breakfast hostess was friendly and diligent. The outdoor pool area looked very inviting. Some rooms face poolside. (Nice stop for families). Don’t know how many rooms (there are a lot, 2 levels) are in updated/usable condition. The parking lot sorely needs repair and the paint on the eves is badly worn.This looks like a labor of love in progress by some hardworking folks. I’m sorry I failed to take photos, especially of the pretty areas. Would stay there again.
I must say I am one of those people that check every nook and cranny when I have to stay at a motel. My husband trucks and had told me of this place and said it's been under construction but looking nice. I am super impressed with the work they have out into this place. Even though the rooms have an outside entrance they were super cozy and clean and the lady at the front desk and all the staff we have encountered so far have been amazing. Honestly the best motel breakfast we have ever had. Don't let these old places scare you off. We have stayed at several and are always super impressed. Nice work. Keep it up.
After having a horrible experience with a hotel down the road I called and asked if they had a room available (I had kids and pets). Not only did they, it was first floor, cheaper than the place down the road but Heather was so amazingly nice!! Normally I stay at the chain motels for the ease of checking in and no suprises. I can deff say, when I travel to visit family out west again I stay here!
They are under renovation the place will be nicer once finished. It was worth the money though and the staff member was a really good guy took care of getting me booked late at night.
