very unique and having a great message of art preservation. They are very Covid conscious! The displays are very interesting. Bathrooms are brand new and nice to have. As my husband says creepy yet interesting especially the 80 something dead body.

We found out about this place while we were camping at nearby Wilson State Park, so we took the short drive to Lucas to see it. Having seen Gaudi's Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, this work is perhaps a verrrrry distant echo, built on a much more limited scale and budget, with the artist's political views woven into the work. It is certainly unique, very interesting, and kinda creepy. We did not go on the paid tour, but heard that the artist's actual body can be seen behind glass. Actually, they couldn't pay me enough to go see that! Just sayin'.

What a interesting site to behold. You need to take a tour, lead by a distant relative, to get the meaning of the statues, both religious and political views. You also will appreciation of S.P. Dinsmoor's forward thinking when it comes to getting electricity and a recipe if cement that has spanned decades
