Great place to turn around
Channel NoMore (10/01/2019)
Great little hidden gem of an RV park. Free WiFi that's actually decent most of the time, a little laundry room with showers though I've not used the latter. The owner, Kurt, is prompt with any issues. There is a train that passes occasionally, maybe once a day that doesn't bother us.

I recently stayed here for 3 weeks, while working in McPherson. They were very accommodating.nMy site stayed puddle free, even after plenty of rain. There was little to no highway noise. There was an occasional train. The train didn't seem to have a schedule so it never bothered me.nThere is also a great diner and bakery right across the street.nVery conveniently located between Hutchinson and Wichita. They have very nice laundry facilities, but don't forget your quarters.nThe only thing missing wer the trees! I personally love to have trees where I stay. Unfortunately, this isn't real common because of the dangers to the RV roofs.nnI would definitely stay here again!!!

I did an overnight here with plans to tour the salt mine. I got luck as only one site open. Lots of traveling construction workers using park at the moment. Wifi was usable bit sometimes flaky. It is 25$ for full hookups. I didn't check out the showers but it does have a small laundry.

I'll post the negatives first because I used to love this RV park no complaints until I discovered just why I cannot ever use the laundry or restroom: this is a pitstop for the local farmers on their tractors to come through constantly, and I do mean constantly.... creating noise and traffic and using the laundry room to wash their clothes and using the bathroom on a break-ALL. DAY.LONG. Not sure if the owner knows, but it's probably the biggest problem here along with the pet owners who let their pets poop everywhere and not pick up.nOther than that, the positives are that it's very affordable at $25 daily, $125 weekly, or $390 monthly, and that does include electricity and free WiFi. WiFi is pretty good if the park is not full, then its unreliable. I've been here about 2 months for a work contract and it's usually quiet and in a good area (minus those farmers coming and going) with stores and Walmart just 10 min away. The Amish restaurants a stones throw away are delicious. But yes...the tractor traffic is annoying-as I've written this in this short time, there's been 3 already....
