I have seen Dr. Hohly as a patient for many years. She in knowledge, experienced, caring, willing to work with patients in difficult financial situations on payment plans and - to my mind - most importantly conservative when prescribing drugs. When appropriate, she will write treat aggressively and/or with the newest drugs on the market; however often it is best to use drugs at the lowest possible dose and wait several years after a new drug enters the market in order for unintended side-effects to become known.nnOf the psychiatrist in the region, it is my opinion Dr. Hohly tops the list in skill and compassion.
