Dr. Barbara A. Luder, MD

To begin with Dr. Luder is one of those rare doctors who genuinely cares about her patients. When seeing her, you have the feeling that you are her only patient, although I am aware she is booked solid for weeks in advance. She takes the time to truly delve into the problem and provide her vast knowledge and expertise to the situation. I am one of those people that reads everything regarding my type of cancer and stays up (to the minute) on new procedures and protocols. Nothing was a surprise to her and she was able to cite studies and locales on studies and differentiate my situation to that of the focus of a particular study. In other words, she knows her medicine extremely well and after getting to know you as the patient, she expertly recommends the best course of action. Very easy-going demeanor which is void of 'Doctor Superiority' or condescension. She take a very pragmatic approach to problems and upon leaving I felt well-informed and very comfortable in her care. I cannot say enough good things about her.
