Great hotel! If you're are looking at a place to stay this is it! The staff were great and the area is amazing. Make sure you check out Club D'est for great food and amazing people! Best steak I have had in a long time.
We stayed at this place a year ago with my service dog. There were bed bugs but they moved us to a room without bugs and immediately treated the room. That stay was fine and I would have given it 4 stars. However, I returned with my cousin and each of us had our service dog. The desk clerk called them pets and demanded $50 for each animal or proof they were service dogs. I attempted to remind him of the law and he was rude and nasty. We went right next door to the Comfort Inn and had no problem getting a handicap room with our dog. Evidently if you are a disabled person you must not travel with another disabled person if you wish to stay at this hotel.
Got charged twice for a one night stay, when I attempted to get a refund for one of the nights on the double charge, I was assured that the refund had been successfully made and when I checked the following day to be sure of this, I was charged for ANOTHER night. Stayed one night, and thus far, have been charged for the cost of 3 nights, or $140 more than I should have been charged. Had to go through my bank to rectify the situation. Never again; would give 0 stars if possible.
Quiet hotel with reasonable services. However, my visit was during the COVID-19 pandemic and I expected better than average cleanliness. The breakfast buffet was as usual, with the addition of hand sanitizer. Tables not well cleaned and shared serving utensils were disappointing. Further, I found dirty towels left in the restroom from the prior guest, indicating less than ideal cleaning. I’m rethinking travel based on this experience.
Beds are hard as rocks.... fridge was disgusting had a bunch of spilled food in it. Our room wasnt clean we found trash by the head board and couple random M&M's in our bedding. Breakfast was ok except the eggs were so dry and hard they were crunchy . The breakfast lady wasn't wipeing stuff down like I would expect with a pandemic. Hallways and elevator were dirty and needed cleaned. Overall the price we paid I expected more this place definitely in need of some tlc.
