Shop-owner Ruth is kind, witty, and very helpful! We were in town for my grandmother’s burial, and since she was an avid antiquer - collecting things on all of her trips, we stopped by to collect some things of our own in her childhood hometown to remember her by. She loved turquoise, cameos, and collected Italian mosaic jewelry while living in Libya.nnRuth helped us sort through her lovely collection, being very patient as we took our time finding what we fancied. She was very generous as well, gifting my sister and I each a piece with her condolences for my grandmother.nnShe has a wonderful collection of jewelry, home goods, quilts, and art, including many Dutch pieces from the original homesteaders. Please stop by and pay her a visit!
We always find something we like here. But unfortunately the last three times we have come to town it has been closed during business hours. Which is too bad because like I said, we always find something to spend money on!
