Grew up here in the late 60s, I was so glad to see the church restored to what it was when my grandfather was there. I still stop by to visit relatives at the cemetery. My heart will always be in St. Benedict with Raymond and Gertrude.

If you are ever on the pony Express highway at Seneca Seneca ks, you have to drive a couple miles north to St Benedict ks and see this church. It is beyond belief. The beautiful ceiling art is so unique. The woodwork craftsmanship is exquisite, the altars and statuary are original and in exceptional condition. This is a treasure and a trip back in time of what a gothic style prairie catholic church should look like.
