Good selection and service when we were window shopping.

We've always done business with Jims and been satisfied. This last purchase was less than satisfying. The delivery personnel were professional and courteous. Management was unorganized and unprofessional. I was told I would get a call on Wednesday for a possible delivery on Thursday. Wednesday came and went and I received no phone call. Thursday morning, while I'm at work, I received three phone calls from Jims in less than 10 minutes. It is not company policy to be on our phone at work. My plan was to call back when I went to lunch, but I answered the third phone call and was told they were wanting to deliver the dryer that afternoon. I explained I had already committed to work late and couldn't guarantee I would be home. I also told them I was in no hurry. The response was that they would call me later that afternoon if I WOULD answer my phone. I'm a little put off by the snarky remark but I agree. I did not get a phone call that evening. Instead, I get a call Monday morning while I'm at work again. They're wanting to deliver the dryer that morning. I'm more than a little frustrated now. I explained that they had my schedule and knew I was at work and would not be home until that afternoon. He agreed and said he would call me back. Instead, he calls my spouse and tells him they will set up a delivery up for the afternoon. I receive another phone call at work telling me that they will try to deliver the dryer at 2. I agree but tell him again that I won't be home until after 2. I am told that most people just leave their houses unlocked for them. My response was that's not going to happen. I got the delivery after 3. The delivery personnel were very professional. I felt that management was very unprofessional.

Great selection of mixers. Very disappointed in trying to arrange service of washer and service knowledge. Was not like what I had heard it was. Not kid friendly.

About a year ago we went to Lowe’s and bought a Maytag washing machine, and a Whirlpool refrigerator. Still less than a year since that date, I have had to call within a week apart of one another, service for each appliance. The refrigerator immediately scheduled with Jim’s for repair and I was promptly contacted and scheduled for a 9am (to noon) appointment the next day. At 9:05am Jesse showed up and took care of business. That same week my washer decided it needed attention, and Maytag assigned to a place from Lincoln, Kansas - thankfully not available, so after my next call Jim’s and Jesse to the rescue. Came out same day to assess need to order part delivered and installed as fast as possible, right as scheduled. Great job all around - should try and check prices with them on our next appliance needs.

Good prices and great service. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Wonderful selection.
