There are so many cool little pieces of history here! From daily life to Moundridge business memorabilia, there is just a lot of interesting exhibits. The blacksmith shop is also fully functional and does work for the museum.nReally neat place to visit!
Best kept secret in Kansas! The Cole House Museum in Moundridge is amazing. We spent hours viewing the displays and learning about the history of this incredible place and its outbuildings. It is operated and maintained by local volunteers who can explain all the exhibits. A must see museum for all ages!
This whole complex was very informative. A Stucky and, I think his wife provided extremely valuable information about the curated items, the Moundridge community and it's history, etc. Wonderful!
We are so glad that we stopped by this museum when we passed through Kansas recently. Not only did we enjoy learning about the history of the area and seeing the museum exhibits, but we learned so much about my ancestors who settled in this area. It was a blessing to see pictures of the school and church my dad went to as a boy. Thanks so much to the volunteers, Rosemary and her husband, who opened up the Heritage Center on the day we were in the area.
Wasn't allowed inside the buildings because they were closed, however I was allowed to walk about the property. It looks like a neat place to learn about local history.
