This is a place where you see back in time the history of hard working people. Even during their past times they found ways to add to their lives and others.nnThe quality of their lives in years past while farming the land is of good report.
This is a neat off the beaten path museum that you shouldn't overlook. The sheer amount of items they have is impressive, almost all of it authentic items donated by descendents of the original settlers. There are also several original buildings that were moved to the museum that you can walk through. The staff were all happy to answer questions, and the gift shop had a lot of neat locally made stuff.
Plenty of artifacts. Helpful your guides. Interesting Russian Mennonite history.
Neat place. We went to the annual Threshing Days.
Wonderful museum to visit. It's about the Mennonite History in Kansas.Wheat wad a major contribution to Mennonite History as well as American History.nThere are many things to see here, displays from different time periods in history, also a local shop within the musuem. Come see and learn.
