CPR Cell phone Repair Leavenworth

I did not have my phone repaired here due to several factors, but wanted to mention that Jon (the person who I worked with) was extremely helpful and patient. Ultimately, I did not have phone repaired (screen flickering, then went completely black) due to model (S7), even though phone was purchased only a yr ago and due to Samsung no longer supporting the S7. Jon took considerable time to try and diagnose the root cause, but there was not an apparent culprit. I've actually had 3 different S7's in last 4 yrs, and all have had same issue. After more research, and learning the S7 has not been manufactured in a least 2 yrs, and other potential issues, I decided to upgrade to new model and hope for better outcome.nnJon was VERY honest about all aspects of the repair and potential future outcome, and would have had it repaired there if not for the other S7 issues mentioned above. Jon even took the time to help me identify a good alternative to purchase, that would be similar to the S7 and still semi-affordable, which I did end up purchasing. I should also mention, there was NO CHARGE for Jon's time to diagnose the phone and provide all of the valuable information!nnBottom line: I'm not sure of Jon's role (Owner, Mgr. etc.) at this location, but he should be considered invaluable to the operation, he is a consummate professional! And no, I am not related to and do not know Jon, but it's rare to find genuinely honest people, much less in retail, who truly care about helping the customer - even if it means advising them of a decision that would cost them a sale or a repair. If you live ANYWHERE in the KC metro area, and a have a phone issue, it's worth your time to go to CPR in Leavenworth and talk to Jon.

Ended up not using their service, but the employees were very helpful over the phone answered every question I had and were very friendly.

Leavenworth CPR (formerly the iGurus) has always been extraordinarily helpful and prompt in their repairs and answering any questions that I may have. The levels of customer service that they provide are impressive to say the least, but their best quality is that they are an honest repair shop. Every business is in it to make money, but it's a breath of fresh air where you can go into a store and get an honest assessment of the repair you need done, how economical it is, and be confident in your decision whether it be repair or replace. And luckily, they have options for both!

Took an immaculate iPhone 7 to change the battery, and they accidentally broke the OEM screen. Then, after telling me that the screen would have a lifetime warranty because of their mistake...guess what? It cracked hours later. AND, this happened twice.nnSo here’s the rub....they broke a perfect screen and replaced it with a non-OEM part (twice). And of course, it was garbage.nnNow, let’s talk about the battery. It pretty much heats up to a point of shutting down the phone.nnAll in all, bought a new phone directly from Apple. Wish I could have applied the $50 towards a new phone instead of a battery problem. Won’t make that mistake again.

Had a bad charging port on my phone. Thought i needed to get it replaced. Took it in and they just cleaned it up for me after inspecting it and it's all working better now. Saved me some money, nice guys, good service.
