Precision Endodontics

I have never written or felt compelled to write a Google Review, however after my procedure at Precision Endodontics yesterday, I feel I should share my experience for anyone requiring similar services. I was seen by my dentist in Topeka on Tuesday 9/15/20 for a toothache that had been progressively worsening over the last month. My dentist suspected a fracture and referred me to Precision Endodontics as they are proactive in scheduling patients that are in any kind of discomfort. I called Tuesday afternoon and was scheduled as the first appointment the following day. They instructed me that they would be performing several diagnostic tests and would be able to treat whatever was going on at that same appointment. I was thrilled that I would only need to commute to their office once. I received my new patient paperwork online within 10 minutes of scheduling my appointment. I was extremely apprehensive about my appointment as I have never had a fractured tooth. All of the staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Their equipment is state-of-the-art and the office is clean and well-maintained. After finding several fractures in my tooth, they gave me several treatment options and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I ended up having a root canal and a temporary filling placed. They asked me what music I liked to listen to which made the procedure even more relaxing and put me at ease. I was nervous about the numbing process as it has been extremely uncomfortable for me during past dental procedures. However, Dr. Missura made it completely painless and I was completely numb for the duration of the procedure itself. He and his team were patient and took their time, however they were extremely efficient. I had absolutely no discomfort throughout the procedure and have had very little post-procedure discomfort. They wrote me for prescription-strength ibuprofen that I have not needed to take at all. I could not have asked for a better experience. It genuinely could not have gone any smoother than it did. If you are needing any services that they provide, I would highly recommend making an appointment at Precision. The care that they provide is outstanding and their pricing is extremely fair and reasonable. After my procedure, they called my dentist and scheduled me for a follow-up appointment so I would not have to while I was still numb and commuting back home. We had the best experience with Dr. Missura. He gave wonderful care to our son when he had to have a root canal done. Dr. Missura was extremely thorough in explaining the procedure and answered all of our questions. His staff was caring and professional and his office facility is nice and comfortable. We felt like we were in the best hands every step of the way. Highly recommended him!

As soon as I walked in for my scheduled root canal Dr. Missura and his staff made me feel at ease and comfortable. I was impressed when a couple of days later Dr. Missura called me personally to inquire how I was doing and if I had any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Precision Endodontics.

I'm in my 50's and have had a lot of dental work over the years. I've had a bunch of really terrible experiences with military and civilian endodontics and regular dental work. With numerous root canals and reconstruction and crowns and bridges I would say I'm a borderline expert on the pain that comes from a dental chair. If you're looking for the best experience you've ever had at an Endodontics office you've got to go see Dr Missura. I was referred to their office by a family member in the business. I had already gone through all of my insurance coverage for dental this year and had gotten an infection under a recent crown that was causing me excruciating pain. Precision Endodontics got me in on an emergency basis the very next morning after my call. The doctor was patient, extremely experienced and took his time to go through every piece of the procedure with me and make sure I was comfortable with what he was doing. His staff were phenomenal. I drove more than an hour to get to his office to get this done today so I could get back to work. I'm so glad I decide to take the risk and make the drive. From now on if I need endodontic care I won't hesitate to make the 2 hour round trip to see him and his team of complete professionals. Do yourself and your family a favor put their team on your doctor list.nnUpdate to my post- Are you kidding me... Dr. Missura himself called me on a Saturday morning, 2 days after my procedure, just to check on me and see how I was doing. When's the last time your Doctor called you to followup? Not their nurse, not some random survey company but, your actual Dr. When you need Endodontic care they're worth the drive from anywhere in the KC metro area. CALL THIS TEAM OF AMAZING PEOPLE, you won't regret it.
