Unfortunately, after receiving great floors from him, we absolutely cannot recommend anyone use him. The stress caused by his absent communication is simply not worth the floors being redone. We had read the multiple reviews that talked about this issue, but we went with him anyway because he seemed nice and did a great job for a couple friends. Travis used subcontractors from outside the country, which was OK, until he gave them our number And they contacted us multiple times in the month after doing our floor, saying that Travis had not paid them. This would be questionable, except that Travis never responded to our multiple times contacting him to settle the issue. The subcontractors threatened litigation to us and were understandably angry, as were we, that we paid Travis in full and then never heard from him again to take care of his issue with his own subs. All it would take is a simple returned phone call or email, but he will not. If you enjoy being threatened and being unable to get a hold of Travis, by all means— book him. If not, spare yourself the stress and give someone else your business.
