Dr. Batlan claims he wants to give people pain free life. When he sees you worthy enough to be graced by his presence. I'm in extreme pain daily. Does he care about that....No! All he does is look over some paperwork and then decides if he will help you. Instead of actually meeting with a patient first before deciding to take "your case" or not.

I saw Dr Batlan after an accident in 2007 then was again referred to him in 2010 when i reinjured my cervical spine and had impingement at my C4-5, C5-6 and C 6-7 nerve roots. Other doctors i had seen just handed me prescriptions without solutions and i sought out Dr Batlan to again receive injections in lieu of prescription medication. At my initial visit it was clear he had not reviewed my most recent MRI because he told me the minor trauma from a car accident years ago shouldn’t be causing me so much pain. I had a disc copy of my recent MRI with me and tried to explain he must not have the up to date information. At my appt i had gross muscle loss in my posterior deltoid and triceps with sensory loss to two fingers and much of my forearm. Without so much as a physical exam he proceeded to call me a “drug seeking liar” and told me to take my “bullshit elsewhere” he gave me a prescription for 4 hydrocodone pills and sent me on my way. My boyfriend who was a LVMPD officer witnessed the entire “consult”. Because he “discharged” me as a patient i had difficulty finding any other pain practice to take me on - dr Kim finally did and after 3 injections my entire life changed. The muscle loss was permanent but the sensation to my fingers returned. Dr Batlans erroneous judgment of me caused irreparable damage. I am not a lay person, i work in the field. If you want a physician who judges you and looks over the top of his nose besmirching you- then go see him. If you want a genuine caring practitioner - take your business elsewhere .

I am so glad I was recommended to Dr Batlan. He is a very good doctor and cares about his patients. He knows how to give the right shots to live pain free

I have bulging cervical disc C6-C7. Just finished my three series of epidural. (Administered within weekly intervals.) After the shot, I was sore for three days. They informed me about this side effect, so it is best that you stay home and rest for 3 to 4 days after the epidural. Yesterday was my last shot and today, I am pain free.

Awful staff. I simply called to get information and she litterly not my head off. Never never
