Had a consultation today and found the office staff and medical assistant to be very knowledgable, and friendly. Dr. Frankel reviewed my scans and explained clearly what he saw and what we needed to do to fix it. He answered all our questions and we scheduled my procedure to be at St. Rose Siena in 4 days. Very efficient from start to finish and took about 45 minutes. Only complaint is about completing the forms online. Terrible to even get to the forms, then spent an hour filling them out, just to find that one of them was never received by the staff. Had to redo it in the office.

Just another greedy doctor. I was supposed to get a procedure done but due to high thyroid levels found days before the procedure, my GP said absolutely not as I was at high risk for "Thyroid Storm" (which is obviously really bad). Dr. Frankel told me I should still do it ignoring my thyroid condition and after my doctor told me how crazy that is, I cancelled the procedure. Then Frankel charged my $50 and sent it to collections without a bill. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Wow, had an EGD with Dr Frankle. The entire staff from start to finish were the best. Friendly and professional. Dr Frankle and his crew during the procedure actually listened to my apprehensions and calmed the waters. Far exceeded my expectations,. Dr Frankle and his team are highly recommended.

I have had my fair share of doctors who I haven’t liked in the past but this is by far the worst doctor I have ever been to, he makes all other “bad” doctors seem like the greatest. I waited an hour past my appointment to be seen which wasn’t the frustrating part, but now it’s the end of his day and seems annoyed I’m in his office. Since I have had issues with no answers for over 10 years which I expressed to him I had a lot of questions, he stood by door and barely 4 minutes into me being in front of him while I was still asking questions he had his hand on the door opening it. Undiagnosed and without testing he told me “if I have IBS it’s just something I’ll have to live with” I was still asking questions and he was walking me out after not even being with him for 5 minutes total. I understand there isn’t much a doctor can do without running tests but in the midst of me asking questions I was being walked out of his office and told he can refer me to about 4 different other things to have done with not even explaining what each of them will entail or what the purpose of them is. I got more questions answered by the nurse who wrote me the referrals than “doctor” Frankel. My personal information form took longer to fill out than the time he gave me to explain my history of gastro issues to him or answer my questions I had. I felt I should have apologized for being an inconvenience for him. Not to mention the fact I paid a $30 copay for him to walk my in and out of a room .
