We have usually stayed on the Plaza, and because of family moving south of town, we decided to try the Inn. This is where I grew up in KC, so was a very familiar area to stay. We were so pleased that there is a boutique hotel in Prairie Village. The location is great and we were able to take walks around the nearby park. The hotel was comfortable and quiet, and the staff made things perfect. John at the front desk was familiar to us from the Plaza and he helped with getting us checked in, moving our bags into the room and suggesting great places to eat.nEverybody was friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable staying in the sanitized rooms, during the pandemic. We will definitely be back!
I'm not sure I can properly express how wonderful the Inn at Meadowbrook is. We had a very unconventional thanksgiving due to Covid. We wanted to be together but not in each other's homes. and we were insistent that the hotel we stayed in had to be very very clean. So my sister and I booked the Meadowbrook suite and hosted my brother's family and my mom in our room. We had plenty of space for the kids to run around and we were able to keep the balcony door open to ensure fresh air circulating through the suite. After dinner we went to the HUGE playground and the kiddos played for hours. The next day we all met again and the hotel had bikes out for us to ride. We rode bikes around the grounds (3 miles of trails) and, of course, went to the play ground again. Our thanksgiving was memorable and fun. Now, the staff at the Inn is beyond AMAZING! They made sure our stay was excellent. We couldn't be more thankful for John and Lydia and the rest of the hotel staff that assisted us when we locked ourselves out, needed water or spoons or napkins, and when we needed help with the TV. Lastly, the lobby is beautiful and classy and the rooms have the very tasteful decor. If I ever need a room in KC, this is my go to hotel! Thank you everyone at the Inn at Meadowbrook!
Our stay was excellent. Our check-in drinks were such a nice first impression. The thoughtfulness and the gifts to our children made it so special for us and the kids and made us so excited to start our staycation. We love the hot tub, we loved the gorgeous comfortable rooms, we appreciated the wonderful customer service, and a great restaurant next-door. We appreciate all of the effort that went into our stay and look forward to coming back soon!
Five of my friends and I recently stayed in the family suite and the adjoining king room. We play pickleball at Meadowbrook Park and thought it would be fun to have a staycation at The Inn, as we all live in the area. We were blown away by how wonderfully we were treated by everyone at the hotel. Our great experience with the staff started at the front desk where we were greeted by Lydia. Robert, the manager, and the entire maintenance team were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful. Our rooms could not have been any more fabulous. We felt so welcome We all said we can't wait to do again....soon!!!
The Inn at Meadowbrook is amazing! Lidia and Robert made sure our stay was unforgettable. We live down the street but had a girls night birthday celebration in the Family Suite and it was more than we could have imagined. It definitely didn’t feel like we were so close to home. I can’t wait to go back with family or friends.
